RIPON YOUNG MUSICIANS OF THE YEAR COMPETITION

The 2026 Ripon Competition will be held on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November Adjudicator: Alasdair Jamieson

NB. The District Round of the Rotary National competition will be held at St John’s Church Sharow on Sunday 7th February 2027 at 1pm

The Competition:

Encouraging local young musicians up to and including age 18, giving them an opportunity to perform and for their talent to be recognised.

There are 6 solo competitive classes and an ensemble class

Open to young musicians who live within, are at school within, or who have private music lessons within, a 15-mile radius of Ripon

Admission  to  the  competition is free and  to the concert  is  by  ticket  in advance or on  the  door
