RIPON YOUNG MUSICIANS OF THE YEAR COMPETITION
The 2024 Ripon Competition will be held of Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November

Congratulations to Alannah Saphir and Hazel Read winners of the District Round and yesterday both winners of the Regional Round
Well done, Alannah Saphir and Hazel Read, who performed superbly at a hotly contested National Final held on Sunday 21st April in Manchester
They were a credit to the Ripon Competition
The Ripon Competition is organised by
Ripon Rotary Club, Ripon Rowels Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club of Ripon, and Inner Wheel Club of Ripon Rowels
The Competition:
Encouraging local young musicians up to and including age 18, giving them an opportunity to perform and for their talent to be recognised.
Open to young musicians who live within, or are at school within, or who have private music lessons within, a 15-mile radius of Ripon
There are 6 solo competitive classes and an ensemble class
Audience admission to the competition and concert is by ticket on the door, which covers all or any of the competition stages
and the concert — Adults : £ 3.00 ; Children : free
